About the Club The Hilton Head Plantation Newcomers Club is open to all new Hilton Head Plantation (HHP) residents, full and part time. Our mission is to provide a venue for new residents of Hilton Head Plantation to become an integral part of the Plantation, feel welcome and provide opportunties to promote friendships between other newcomers and the community. We invite everyone in this group to take an active part in the Club, dedicated to helping new Plantation residents integrate into our community, have fun, and enjoy all of the benefits HHP has to offer by:   ·       Helping them meet and socialize with their neighbors ·       Educating them in the history of our beautiful Island and points of interest ·       Making them aware of the many HHP organizations ·       Promoting awareness of services available in HHP ·       Introducing newcomers to products and services available on and off Island   The Club meets on the third Tuesday of each month, September to May.  Most meetings follow the format of a “mixer” followed by a meeting, prizes, and refreshments.  Look for detailed information on our events each month in Plantation Living.

Upcoming Events February 21st. HHI Regional Hospital for Heart Healthy Month with appetizers and an optional tour. This is a free event. If you plan to attend, please submit the RSVP Form and indicate if you plan to take the hospital tour.    See the Schedule of Events for more details and other events. Membership HHP residents can become a member by filling out the New Member Form.  Club members are eligibile for membership for a maximum of four years.   There is a nominal $5 annual membership fee per person ($10 per couple) to join Newcomers.  The membership renewal fee for all members is due by August 1, 2011 and effective through July 31, 2012.  Kindly remit your payment payable to HHP Newcomers Club and mail it to Linda Cooper at 38 Cottonwood Lane.   Your membership will be activated upon receipt of your dues payment.  If you have any question, please feel free to contact our Board President, Chuck Cooper, at (815) 985-3636.
